It’s August. Whether you are returning to the classroom, home-schooling or doing virtual this year; back-to-school time is drawing near. I usually LOVE back-to-school shopping but this year I am having a hard time getting started. I can’t imagine why?
Whether we like it or not, school is starting in the midst of a p———-(dare I say the word). We are all making tough choices about what is best for our kids and our families. Tough choices we’ve never had to make before and it’s weighing on us. I realized recently that the heaviness can carry over to my kiddos if I let it. That’s when I decided to start preparing in an effort to get the kids excited about learning and going back to school. I don’t want to take this tradition from them.
I, for one, have always LOVED back-to-school shopping! I still get giddy over a new pack of markers. There’s something about shopping for those supplies and selecting a new backpack that give me all the nostalgic feels. I want my kids to have that too. So, today I rounded up a collection of all the things inspiring me to get in the b-t-s mood. Yes, I’m a sucker for the classic school colors.
